Since I last saw you, I f had cortisone injections in the inflamed hamstring area, together with PRP injections. Also, I’m on a fairly intense physical therapy program to strengthen the hamstrings generally, so that the healthy portions can do the work and not stress the torn area so much. (At least that is my layman’s understanding). The combination of these efforts (and, of course, your treatments) appear to have carried me past the worst stage. I can now sit much more comfortably, and I can exercise actively without too much distress. I’m optimistic that I will be able to resume full activity soon, although I understand that there will likely always be some degree of discomfort. As you advised, just another thing to take care of, like brushing one’s teeth.
I appreciate not only the medical treatments, but your empathetic attitude and positive approach. You truly are a healer. Please convey my thanks, as well, to Anna.

“BE brings me sobriety and balance. I am more emotionally grounded; it seems incredible that I’m less “a leaf at the mercy of the wind.” My resistance to growth often emerges and then everything is a challenge; but before where I used to see a problem, now I can see the opportunity offered by a challenge, and that is fun. I can have a different point of view. I am much more creative. I have new solutions for would-be problems. I have more strength and energy, and better health. I’m more friendly and loving. I’m learning to love myself. Practicing BE is a necessity for me—as important as eating or sleeping—but at the same time an enormous pleasure and a source of wellbeing.”

“I’ve been working with Miles and Aerin since Being Energy began in 2010. Doing these exercises and programs is helping me to develop spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally. They showed me how to develop muscles in all these areas and have made me stronger, fitter, softer and sharper. Each one of us is on their own Green Mile and faces the challenges and delights of this weird life of ours, but Being Energy is a community and every time I think about quitting I get reminded that whatever it is I’m beginning to look at in my own quests seems to be weaving together with the pursuits of the group. I believe, actually I know, there is an invisible world around and integrated with this one where we help dream these plays we act out in this physical world. In some way us Being Energy-ers are working together on this pan planetary drama spinning out dreams of strength and purpose.”

“Through the continuous practice of the movements I have found that inner silence comes to my being; then I glimpse a new clarity. I see the same people doing the same things as always, but now I don’t get caught in comparison, or in judgment. I simply see that life follows its natural flow. These moments of silence have helped me to mitigate the stress of daily life and to be more present at work and with my family. I feel younger and more vital, and I am very thankful to this work!”

“I have been with Being Energy from the beginning, and what great help I had and continue having in all areas of my life. Seeing in retrospect, I’m much more confident, more relaxed, more fluid and for sure much more aware. I love the movements that help me to be in the present and give me flexibility and strength. I love the guided meditations, and particularly the recapitulation exercises. Also BE is a community that is great to be part of; there is trust, commitment and affection between the practitioners. I’m very thankful to be part of this worldwide connection and above all to be in the Path with Heart classes every Sunday!”

“Being Energy has transformed and continues to transform my life every day. To find daily moments for the movements and silence is something that I feel as necessary as eating or sleeping well. I feel more connected with my body and every day I am what I practice—the passes free my body and mold my day, my mood and my emotions. Thus, I know at a very deep level I am responsible for how I want to perceive and create my life. One of the changes in something from my daily life that I can share is my different reaction and how I perceive others as I drive in the chaotic traffic of my city. Before, I used to get angry a lot; I couldn’t get out of the inner state of feeling that I was right, and that others didn’t respect the rules or people, and had a reaction to “not let them win.” I honked a lot just because I was irritated, I didn’t yield if I didn’t have to, and in general I entered a highway like going into battle—tense, contracted, investing a lot of energy in feeding my ego so that I would feel superior to the others. Now the act of driving has taken on another intention; it happens often after a practice, especially practicing the passes that move me toward silence. I simply travel in the car as if I didn’t feel time, I’m at peace with myself, and I see that everything goes more slowly and that it’s not necessary to be in a hurry, that there is no place that awaits me better than this internal connectedness. And I see everything that appears—the colors of the cars, the number or words in the signs, trees, the people walking—as if I were in another world seeing them appear for the first time, astonishing myself with the things that appear in my field of perception, in my life. I perceive the other drivers as beings who also need silence, who often are in a state of tension and suffering. So I smile more. A few days ago, I yielded the way to a car that no one was letting in; I didn’t have to do it, and a few meters farther along I found myself traveling at the same speed beside this car. Then the other driver, an old man, turned to look at me with curiosity; he didn’t have to do it either, but he sent me a beautiful smile of complicity, sympathy and thanks that shined on me in that moment. The encounter with this man was not by chance. I had to encounter him and he told me something with his look—I reencountered my spirit through him.”

“B.E. Wake up, Ari…It’s already morning…The sun…touches my left cheek, and the right, with all of its points…the most delicate of each one of its rays, deep caresses, I am sure of it. My face adjusts itself to wake up little by little. I half open the eyes, my eye lashes fluttering to the rhythm of favorite songs; I can feel the particles of light filtering themselves with each opening and closing. I stand up aware. I am aware of the sun, of what having this unique day implies, a day different than the 363 days past. I stretch myself and yawn. I give up my eyes to this tenuous but so powerful light, opening myself with all the senses to that moment that is beginning, today is December 30, 2015. The day is alive…let conscious movement begin. We’ll see when the night arrives….The day will bid it goodbye. A glass of warm water and energy passes are always the first thing that I want to do upon waking. I am matter, I am energy too…the smallest unit in my body feels it, knows it, because the little vibrations make me smile. Doing the movements with constant practice helps me enjoy with the mood of a warrior and dancer each little moment as something unique; any conversation, or interval of time, becomes more important; the wise one, my past stops being a burden in order become a tool, the present is my most precious treasure, the future is my abstract part, the uncertainty and mystery. Time…what a delight, stops being a line that begins and ends in order to interlace and coexist. Then one only has to sit to enjoy each mouthful. To be aware of the little pieces of life, little pieces of memories of anger, enviousness, sadness, pain, laughter and of much happiness…Everything counts and everything is of vital importance. This constant practice is the walking stick with which, little by little, I climb my favorite mountain. I am fire and desert, mud, water, blood, everything and nothing…Being Ari Energy. Thanks.”
