MORELIA, MEXICO
Workshop December 5, 6 & 7, 2025

We gather in this place, the land of Mexico, to pay homage to the men and women seekers of freedom who have lived in these lands since antiquity.

In the emerging view of a unified Mesoamerican cosmology, that is to say, a Teotihuacano one, within the plumed serpent mythology, the Three Hearthstones symbolize the foundation of the universe, the beginning, origin, and source of all things. These hearthstones are linked to the constellation Orion, specifically to its belt of stars, Las Tres Marías, the hearth stars of creation.
In that cognitive system, Quetzalcoatl—the plumed serpent- is the path a warrior travels in life, from his origin at the hearth stars, to his destiny in the Pleiades, the place of continuity and balance.
ORION: ORIGIN – PLEIADES: REBIRTH

The three hearths can also be seen, by modern practitioners, as the three brains in the human body—cranial, heart, and gut, or the three layers of the self—mind, body, and spirit. Together, these form a complete experience of our self and of our potential.
“Wow, el horizonte esta color de hormiga!” Carlos Castaneda told his students. “Tighten your belts! We are coming into alignment with the black hole at the center of the galaxy. Everything else is nothing in comparison”, he admonished. “I won’t be around to see it, but you will. And you are going to need energy to face it. That is the Toltec way.”
Within the context of the tradition he had inherited from his teacher, the term “Toltec” meant “men of knowledge”, someone who acquired the habit of consulting with all their heart.

A turtle is carrying three hearthstone stars on its back, in a tripod formation. In ancient Mesoamerican belief, the earth’s surface was seen as a great turtle floating on the primordial sea of life. The turtle represents the four directions of the earth and the spirit that sustains it, a hologram of the universe.

And so they named it Teotihuacan:
Because it was the burial place of rulers.
For it is said: When we die,
We do not truly die,
Because we are alive,
Because we are brought back to life,
Because we still live,
Because we awaken…
Thus, the elders said:
“He who died became a god.”
– Nahuatl poem
Your Workshop Experience:
- Integrating your health with your body and your Spirit, to give you a boost of energy.
- Sharing a retreat experience, meals, walks, and culture with other practitioners from different regions.
- Opening a corridor of perception into the time of Tingambato and Teotihuacan, in ancient Mexico.
- The experience of moving your perception—assemblage point, to different positions, like a tree, the Earth, and the mythical Tollán.
- When the thinking mind comes to a halt, and the world of inner silence opens.
- Feeling your body as a full apparatus of perception.
Be guided through the details and nuances of this unique tradition by Dr. Miles Reid, one of the principal original teachers trained directly by Carlos Castaneda, and featured in his book on the subject, Magical Passes.
The seminar-retreat is for everybody who participates in the energy passes online, the regional practices, quarterly live gatherings, to meet each other in person, network, share an amazing time, and get connected.
If you have not yet participated in the online practices, this is a great opportunity to introduce yourself to the energy passes of Carlos Castaneda, to ancient and modern practices of shamanism, and their bridge to modern life, medicine and science.
