Get a chance to bring up a personal experience to highlight it under the premises of the shamans of ancient Mexico. Make your stories your roadmap to your own personal power. Or simply listen to others to be inspired and illuminated by them, and by the commentary on them, as if they were speaking to you.
This is an opportunity to have a personal interaction with one of the leading teachers and a direct apprentice of Carlos Castaneda. As host and emcee, Miles shares his three decades of experience immersed in the ancient shaman’s legacy, and from his own direct experiences working closely with Dr. Castaneda for over ten years.

This will be an Annual Gathering from all Practice Groups around the globe, to celebrate each other for their efforts and energy over the first year of the Joining Forces project of practices, to intermingle, create new relationships and support each other for the next year practice.
We help each other to have purpose and a sustained practice
We move towards freedom joining forces, side by side, and internationally
The Global Practice will take place via Zoom, from 16:00 to 19:00hrs CET of the third day of the Live Retreat in Slovenia, for those who can’t make it physically.
It will just like the group’s Seasonal Practices, but of double duration, and one same practice for all groups at the same time.

An Advanced Practice for seasoned and beginners alike

The Fluidity of the Assemblage Point

For the men and women shamans in ancient Mexico, every one of their practices was aimed at arriving to a state of fluidity, in terms of perception. Fluidity of perception meant, for them, the natural capacity that we have as human beings, of moving in new directions, conceiving new possibilities, and engaging new actions, which lead them to a greater definition of oneself, uplifting and empowering.
The act of entering into the new, in all its forms, they called dreaming, and the internal state that allows us to do dreaming they called fluidity.
Arranging your own Sequence for Dreaming is akin to preparing your vehicle for the ride. Entering into the right state, the right feeling—i.e fluidity, so you can dream.
For the particular aim of the Global Practice, we are exploring the dream of “becoming jaguarized”. But the Sequence for Dreaming can set you the tone for any dreaming endeavor you choose.

The Sequence for Dreaming aims at two things:

To bring a state of fluidity
to the Assemblage Point (AP)

Creating fluidity in 3 ways:

  1. A horizontal gliding of the shoulder blades over the ribs
  2. A continuous rhythm and flow of the shoulder blades
  3. A activation of the vital centers by turning the oblique muscles

To stalk perception
to be focused and clear in any new position of the assemblage point (AP)

  1. A pattern of breathing –Continuous even flow pattern
  2. A position of the eyes –No focal view, only peripheral activation
  3. A stance in the legs –Psoas-Earth communication

Peripheral vision, constant & circular breathing, the psoas planted in the Earth and the Assemblage Point rotating, spinning, going. Those are the parameters.

How to arrange a form

  • A vocabulary of passes –UNITS: 20 passes for Dreaming; 16 energy passes + 4 fillers
  • A sequence combination –Unique each practitioner / time
  • A perceptual focus –Fluidity of perceptiion
  • Instead of being a single set form, in The Sequence for Dreaming there is rather a vocabulary, a set of small components that can then be arranged in sequences with different orders and repetitions. In this context, an arrangement is a unique sequence and number of repetitions of the sets, reflecting individual expressions.
  • Each unit addresses a particular function or aspect of fluidity.
  • Each Practice Group worldwide develops its own arrangement, its own form, by individual members of each group practicing, exploring the units and creating their unique sequence.
  • Individual practitioners’ sequences will be shown and shared throughout the next Seasonal Practices, and each group will finally choose one version to present at the Global Practice in August.

The Jaguar Form

The jaguar is one of the most consequential figures in Mesoamerica culture, the ruler of the underworld, the spirit of light and darkness, the Sun of the night. For shamans, the jaguar brings a specific kind of energy to those who align with it: courage, valor and the confidence to seek and confront that which is in the darkness, that cannot or would not be seen, including one’s fears and one’s enemies. The jaguar represents power and ferocity. The jaguar has night vision and can see depth in the dark. Being a jaguar can also mean accessing higher functions of our brain, including insight and foresight.

How to arrange a form

  1. there is a pattern of breathing to follow,
  2. a specific mood to enter,
  3. a technique for how to engage the hands as claws,
  4. a set of wheels’ strikes
  5. a collection of blocks of energy passes; blocks can be combined in any order and number of repetitions so that the end result is a form always fresh, unique, and in motion.
  6. Any given Form, any given arrangement (sequence) can also include any of the sounds in combination with any of the movements.

Further Guidelines for Creating a Jaguar Form

  • Instead of being a single set form, in The Jaguar Form there is rather a vocabulary, a set of small components that can then be arranged in sequences with different orders and repetitions.
  • Each set functions as a unit of perception, from the realm of the jaguar. In this context, an arrangement is a unique sequence and number of repetitions of the sets, reflecting individual expressions.
  • Each Practice Group worldwide develops its own arrangement, its own form, by individual members of each group practicing, exploring the units and creating their unique sequence.
  • Individual practitioners’ sequences will be shown and shared throughout the next Seasonal Practices, and each group will finally choose one version to present at the Global Practice in August.

In this form, a warrior becomes “Jaguarized” It is not that the warrior leaves the human to become a jaguar; rather, the human pulls in the jaguar, he incorporates the energies and attributes of the jaguar into the human.

One of the most cherished projects of the nagual during the last years of his life, was the advent of Practice Groups. When he started giving workshops, he was amazed to see the phenomenon of energy mass, when it came to the practice of the passes. How a number of practitioners doing them together, makes everyone much more available to move, to change, both physically and perceptually. He would say that a wave of intent seemed to generate and pass through them.

“This energetic current, which a shaman could easily see, creates a sense of urgency in practitioners. It is like a vibratory wind that sweeps through them and gives them the primary elements of purpose. I have had the privilege of seeing what I considered to be a portentous spectacle: the awakening of purpose, the energetic base of man. Don Juan Matus used to call this unbending intent.” Carlos Castaneda

After the nagual left, we spent a lot of time nurturing and connecting a lot of small practice groups in many different countries, in neighborhoods within large cities or in towns. Over time, the focus shifted away, and many practice groups became inactive.

What would the nagual do today with this dream of practice groups? The individual passion about the passes from so many of you remains inside alive.

And now, tracing the energy in a new group that was recently put together for the whole Italy, and another group formed the same for Argentina, it seems that a new formulation of that dream is coming up, perhaps more in line with the new conditions that social media and the internet have brought that changed the world since the time he was alive.

This new formulation, a combination of live and mostly online, gives the potential for a greater number of practitioners to share a practice and a relationship of intent, grouped not by the same city or neighborhood location, but by country, world region, or language.

To start, each group base will have a Season Practice, for a total of 4 practices per year (Summer Practice, Fall Practice, Winter Practice, Spring Practice) Additional practices can be arranged ‘à la carte’ for special occasions, like the Solstices.

Each regional group is connected through a dedicated WhatsApp group and meets via Zoom. Any given practice can be joined from home, or if there are multiple people living in the same city, you can also meet live during practice time and do the practice together.

We already have our initial Regional Groups around the globe, each with a group of local collaborators who have stepped up to help coordinate them!

The Jaguar Form

Instead of a single fixed form, The Jaguar is a vocabulary, a set of small sets that can be arranged in sequences with different orders and repetitions.

English Transcriptions of the Videos

The first part is always bringing the center of gravity low close to the earth. Okay, so the form starts from our human form.

Suddenly we drop down the center of gravity, a few centimeters into the earth. The dropping of the center of gravity signifies the willingness of the practitioner’s decision to enter into the mood of the jaguar. We come down to become a creature of the Earth.

So that dropping down is an internal change that you must feel. So drop down and, at that moment, your mind begins to invite the awareness of these qualities of the jaguar coming to you. Then we begin to gather energy from the jaguar, becoming jaguarized starts here. So you want to have space under your armpit, so you go hollow there, and then you start working out the claw.

And just like the wheels, the tendons protrude from the claws and accumulate energy. And the feet under the shoes, if you are barefoot, also pucker a little. So all 10 claws are doing that movement. And you are standing forward, rounded, tucking the abdominal area inward, towards the spine, and with the center of gravity low.

That’s the first unit.

This is the Jaguar’s first wheel. The position of the hand is in a claw, and it is very particular because there is no flexion in the wrist, neither backwards nor forwards, it is straight.

And then you stick out the tendons so they really show and the energy can flow through the forearm directly, without interruption. You go from the bottom of the earth, you feel the forces of the ground rising from the earth through the soles of your feet to the lower part of the abdomen. The force of the contraction of the lower abdomen, and the breathing in the lower abdomen, bring the impulse which then passes through the wrist to the claw. That’s the burst.

And that’s how we move energy. It can also be done with one hand alone and any number of repetitions and combinations.

This is the Jaguar’s first wheel.

This is the second wheel with hand in claws, same idea, either with one hand or alternating. You should also make the same straight wrists with claws.

Explode your tendons, let the energy flow through your arm from the floor to your belly. From the belly to the blow. That’s the address. Always hooked on the energy of the ground. It carries the ascending force of the earth. Send it through the soles of your feet, pack it into the lower part of your abdomen, and the force with the jaguar’s breath sends the shaking of the arm through the claws to move the energy around you in a wheel

This is the second wheel on the Jaguar.

And these are the sounds of the Jaguar. There are different variations of sounds. One is panting, the jaguar pants and it is very active in the mouth of the belly, breathe hard in and out through the mouth. Another sound is growling, and you can find how it grows and comes to you.

Sometimes the growl becomes loud and then returns to a low growl and you can find variations of the growths of the Jaguar’s growls and panting.

And this is the unit of sounds.

Hello everyone. We begin with the breathing of the ‘Jaguar of the Toltecs’. This breathing is a hyperventilation pattern. So, inhale and exhale briskly through the nose, if possible, and into the belly, send the air to the lower part of the abdomen and then activate the breathing very dynamically.

That is the basic breathing.

This unit is called Panting & Kicking Energy, it is a series of five quick pantings, fast and strong abdominal breathing, hyperventilating, lowering the center of gravity and then pushing with the hind legs forward, kicking energy as we take steps.

And you can do any number of repetitions of this unit.

This is the Panting & Kicking Energy unit.

This unit is ripping energy and growling, Shhhh, shhhh, again. Then you start with your left arm extended and trace the claw back, slowing down as you step back, letting the echo of the growl and movement fade into the silence.

And then you repeat taking a step again crossing your face with your claw. Same principles of how to put the hand in claw, and same breathing principles.

And then you make four or five quick claws in front of your face, Shhh, Shhh, Shhh, Shhh. You can also walk that way. This concludes the unit.

This unit we are gathering energy and parrying it from side to side. Then, in the same low-gravity posture, very hunched over, with a low center of gravity, the hand begins to open and then closes into a claw as it moves across the face. And at the same time that you close your hands, your belly contracts and your breathing adapts to the movement.

And each time, and as the claws tighten, the back of the legs tighten too. The entire body participates in preparation and readiness. This is the Jaguar getting ready, ready. This means that we prepare ourselves in life to face any situation that comes our way. This is an attribute of the Jaguar. It can be a very, very low and soft growl. The energy is gathered in this way.

This is the Gathering & Parrying Energy unit.

This is the unit where the energy is stored, packaged. So it can be placed anywhere on the shape, but it’s also a nice way to finish. Yes. So we collect energy from below.

We pack it up starting from the top, and then we come to a posture where we ‘step out of the Jaguar’, raise the center of gravity back to human, and stand in a way that contains all the attributes of the jaguar, but back into a human form. , very upright, but with confidence and ease.

The center of gravity of the chest upwards is raised again and the claws are kept behind the body because although we return to human form, we have incorporated the Jaguar.

So we retain the attributes of the jaguar, and this is the distinction of this form with other forms in which we enter the consciousness of other animals or living organisms like a tree, but we leave humanity and try fully to assemble that other particular consciousness.

In this case, in this form, we do not, we always remain in a human self, but we incorporate the new energy, that is what we mean by becoming Jaguar. We are humans. A warrior man or warrior woman who has invoked these attributes in himself.

This is a core unit in the form that can be repeated. He is panting, thrusting and throwing energy. So in this particular one, we’re first scratching, gathering and waiting to pounce.

And here you really want to wait, you really want to wait a little longer than you thought you would want, because you are lurking, waiting, holding back until the perfect moment, for action.

Those are the perceptual opportunities to cultivate in this unity, this. And then when we jump, you can grunt very slightly when you do it, so we jump and let out the grunt and throw it.

And then we bring wrist to wrist, left to right, and we flip them over the head as we spin, and then we throw it a second time to the opposite side. This is the union of gathering and taking energy.

This unit rotates and accumulates energy in circles. There are three circles above the head and we always alternate one after the other. Strong movement, strong breathing, very low center of gravity and collecting energy in a very dynamic way.

And with the Shhh we always mark and emphasize the end of each set of 3 arms.

This is the unit of gathering energy in circles.

This unit is bringing energy from the earth. The jaguar is ready to jump. One more time. Shhh… So we are again, preparing to attack, preparing to attack.

Another way of facing, another way of grabbing energy. And this time we jump in and bring it down very quickly, but then slow down to a very slow pace as you crawl towards the land. And you bend your knees and you can bend them to the floor, or bend down a lot. And then once you’re here, the center of gravity, very close to the Earth. Then we tear the energy backwards, upwards. Shhh… With the claws. One more time. Shhh….

This is the unit that Brings Energy to Earth.

This unit is collecting energy above the head, notice, my posture is very low, very low, even lower, and I bring my arm above my head, and as I lower them, gathering the energy, I begin to slowly scratch. until reaching the central position with the center of gravity very low.

And then I relax while I change arms. And there’s a lot of movement in the shoulder blades, and I want rotation in the trunk, not just an arm movement, but the entire trunk involved like a Jaguar gathering energy above its head.

This unit is accumulating energy above the head, but walking. It’s like the unit Gathering Energy above the Head. The same principles, but getting started. Always the arm opposite the opposite leg, and the movement gains intensity as the arm comes forward with the claw and then relaxes when changing sides.

It goes and relaxes, and the jaguar moves forward. It can also be done by going backwards.

This is the Gathering Energy Overhead Walking unit.

Entonces empezamos a juntar energía del jaguar que viene. Comienza aquí y quieres tener espacio debajo de tu axila, así que te vuelves hueco ahí, y luego comienzas a ejercitar la garra.

Y al igual que en las ruedas, en las garras sobresalen los tendones y acumulan energía. Y los pies debajo de los zapatos, si estás descalzo, también se fruncen un poco. Entonces todas las 10 garras están haciendo ese movimiento. Y tu estas parado hacia adelante, redondeado, metiendo el área abdominal hacia adentro, hacia la columna vertebral, y con el centro de gravedad bajo.

Esa es la primera unidad.

Esta es la primera rueda del Jaguar. La posición de la mano es en garra, y es muy particular porque no hay flexión en la muñeca, ni hacia atrás, ni hacia adelante, esta recta.

Y luego haces sobresalir los tendones para que realmente se vean y la energía pueda fluir a través del antebrazo directamente, sin interrupción. Vas desde el fondo de la tierra, sientes las fuerzas del suelo subiendo desde la tierra por la planta de tus pies hasta la parte inferior del abdomen. La fuerza de la contracción de la parte inferior del abdomen, y la respiración en la parte inferior del abdomen, traen el impulso que luego pasa a través de la muñeca hasta la garra. Esa es la descarga.

Y así es como movemos la energía. También se puede hacer con una mano solo y cualquier número de repeticiones y combinaciones.

Esta es la primera rueda del Jaguar.

Esta es la segunda rueda con mano en garras, misma idea, o con una mano o alternando. También debes hacer las mismas muñecas rectas con garras.

Explota tus tendones, deja que la energía fluya a través del brazo desde el suelo hasta el vientre. Del vientre al golpe. Esa es la dirección. Siempre enganchado a la energía del suelo. Lleva la fuerza ascendente de la tierra. Envíala a través de las plantas de tus pies, empácala en la parte inferior de tu abdomen, y la fuerza con el aliento del jaguar envía la sacudida del brazo a través de las garras para mover la energía a tu alrededor en una rueda

Esta es la segunda rueda del Jaguar.

Y estos son los sonidos del Jaguar. Hay diferentes variaciones de sonidos. Uno es jadeando, el jaguar jadea y está como muy activo en la boca del vientre, respire fuerte hacia adentro y hacia afuera por la boca. Otro sonido es el de los gruñidos, y puedes ver lo que crece y viene hacia ti.

A veces el gruñido se vuelve alto y luego vuelve a ser un gruñido y puedes encontrar las variaciones de los crecimientos de los gruñidos y los jadeos del Jaguar.

Y esta es la unidad de los sonidos.

Hola a todos. Comenzamos con la respiración del ‘Jaguar de los Toltecas’. Esta respiración es un patrón de hiperventilación. Entonces, inhala y exhala rápidamente por la nariz, si es posible, y hacia el abdomen, envía el aire hasta la parte inferior del abdomen y luego activa la respiración de manera muy dinámica.

Esa es la respiración básica.

Esta unidad se llama Jadeando & Pateando Energía, son series de cinco jadeos rápidos, respiración abdominal rápida y fuerte, hiperventilando, bajamos el centro de gravedad y luego empujamos con las patas traseras  hacia adelante, pateando energía mientras damos pasos.

Y puedes hacer cualquier número de repeticiones de esta unidad.

Esta es la unidad de Jadeando & Pateando Energía.

Esta unidad es desgarrando energía y gruñendo, Shhhh, shhhh, otra vez. Entonces comienzas con el brazo izquierdo extendido y trazas la garra hacia atrás, disminuyendo la velocidad a medida que das un paso atrás, dejando que el eco del gruñido y el movimiento desaparezcan en el silencio.

Y luego repites dando un paso nuevamente cruzando tu cara con la garra. Mismos principios de como poner la mano en garra, y mismos principios de respiración.

Y luego haces cuatro o cinco garras rápidas frente a tu cara, Shhh, Shhh, Shhh, Shhh. También puedes caminar de esa manera. Con esto concluye la unidad.

Esta unidad estamos reuniendo energía y parándola de lado a lado. Entonces, en la misma postura de gravedad baja, muy encorvada, con el centro de gravedad bajo, la mano comienza a abrirse y luego se cierra en garra a medida que se mueve por la cara. Y al mismo tiempo que cierras las manos, el vientre se va contrayendo y la respiración va adaptándose al movimiento.

Y cada vez, y cuando las garras se van apretando, la parte de atrás de las piernas también se aprieta. Todo el cuerpo participa en preparación y disposición. Este es el Jaguar preparándose, listo. Esto es que nos preparemos en la vida para enfrentar cualquier situación que se nos presente. Esto se atribuye al Jaguar. Puede ser un gruñido muy, muy bajo y suave. La energía se reúne de esta manera.

Esta es la unidad de Reuniendo & Parando Energía.

Esta es la unidad donde la energía se guarda, se empaca. Por lo tanto, se puede colocar en cualquier parte de la forma, pero también es una buena forma de finalizar. Sí. Entonces recogemos energía desde abajo.

Lo empacamos empezando desde arriba, y luego llegamos a una postura donde ‘salimos del Jaguar’, elevamos el centro de gravedad de vuelta a lo humano, y nos paramos de forma que contiene todos los atributos del jaguar, pero de regreso a una forma humana, muy erguido, pero con confianza y facilidad.

El centro de gravedad del pecho hacia arriba se eleva nuevamente y las garras se mantienen detrás del cuerpo porque aunque volvemos a tener forma humana, hemos incorporado al Jaguar.

Entonces conservamos los atributos del jaguar, y esta es la distinción de esta forma con otras formas en las que entramos en la conciencia de otros animales u organismos vivos como un árbol, pero salimos de la humanidad y tratamos plenamente de ensamblar esa otro particular conciencia.

En este caso, en esta forma, no lo hacemos, siempre permanecemos en un yo humano, pero incorporamos la nueva energía, eso es lo que queremos decir con convertirnos en Jaguar. Nosotros somos humanos. Un hombre guerrero o una mujer guerrera que ha invocado en sí mismo estos atributos.

Esta es una unidad central en la forma que se puede repetir. Está jadeando, empujando y lanzando energía. Entonces, en este en particular, primero estamos arañando, reuniendo y esperando para saltar.

Y aquí quieres realmente esperar, realmente quieres esperar un poco más de lo que pensabas ,que querrías, porque te estás acechando, esperando, conteniéndote hasta el momento perfecto, para la acción.

Esas son las oportunidades de percepción para cultivar en esta unidad, esto. Y luego, cuando saltamos, puedes gruñir muy ligeramente cuando lo haces, entonces saltamos y soltamos el gruñido y lo lanzamos.

Y con el Shhh siempre marca y enfatiza el final del cada set de 3 brazos.

Esta es la unidad de reuniendo energía en círculos.

Esta unidad está trayendo energía desde la tierra. El jaguar está listo para saltar. Una vez más. Shhh… Así estamos nuevamente, preparándonos para atacar, preparándonos para atacar.

Otra forma de encarar, otra forma de agarrar energía. Y esta vez saltamos y lo bajamos muy rápido, pero luego reducimos a un ritmo muy lento a medida que te arrastras hacia la tierra.
